The name of my game is Monster Buster.
I was the programmer of this game. I was unfamiliar with Game Maker and throughout the time we were given to work on the game, I had troubles trying to get the game to behave as we wanted it to do. I would get it to behave properly in one aspect, but what would happen is that solution would cause the game to behave improperly in a different way. We worked on the game until the end. The original plan for the game was to have a shooting game where the character shoots all the monsters. This did not happen however due to troubles with getting our character to even move properly.
I was the producer of this game. My partner and I both had tight schedules. We had very limited time to work on the game due to this issue. We had very limited time to work on the project. It ended up being during the week we could only meet twice a week. During spring break we did not meet at all because my partner was out of town. We end up turning in our project at the deadline, but it did not behave properly. In order to make the deadline, we focused on getting our character to move and getting the basic stuff to work. We were able to add a timer, and add a portal after we got the glitchy jump working.
My question to all you players is this. What would you do to improve the game?
